FESCO

Festival pf Colours of the World (FESCO) is and annual signature cultural event of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). In 2026, FESCO will be organized as a National Traditional Dance Competition and International Dance Festival, providing a platform for students from Institutes of Higher Education (IPT), local schools, and international universities to compete and perform traditional dance.

Organized by UTP Performing Arts Group (UPAG) and the Talent Enrichment Unit, Student Affairs, FESCO has gained international recognition from the Federation of International Dance Festival (FIDAF), South Korea, where Malaysia was acknowledged as an active member country for organizing arts and culture events since 2018.

This two-day event will feature competitive performances by various dance groups, highlighting creativity, cultural diversity, and artistic excellence. FESCO continues to serve as an important platform for nurturing young talents, preserving traditional dance heritage, and promoting cultural exchange at both national and international level.
